Discovery Small Groups

Someone once said that "a healthy, growing small groups ministry will produce a healthy, growing church." We have currently enhanced our Discovery Groups to include both Sunday morning classes designed to go dig deeper, and for a more intimate time, home small groups throughout the week. Small groups will meet for Bible Study, discipleship, accountability, fellowship, and mission in the community and world.

Faith 101

Who we are and what we do?

These and other questions are answered through our Faith 101, 102, and 103 Connection Groups. The class is on a continuing rotating basis on Sunday mornings at 10:45 am in our Connection Room. Faith 101, 102, and 103 were developed to help you become more familiar with our church, our beliefs, the basics of Christian life, and how you fit in God's plan for service in the church.

Yet we know that church is more than a chair....

The fact is you were designed to be a part of a church family. And that's exactly what FCF is intended to be - your family. A healthy family has common beliefs, purposes and commitment. That's why at FCF we want to share with you what we believe and where we're going. Faith 101 is the starting point to learning about what it means to be a part of our family.

Each class gives you the opportunity to get acquainted with new people, fellowship together, and ask questions about faith in Christ and help you deepen your understanding of truth.

The class is divided into three sections:

Faith 101 - Discover What:

In this section you will discover the foundation of FCF, God's Word. You will find out what we believe, teach, and strive to become through God's Word. You will learn key doctrines that make up the foundational beliefs of the teaching ministry of FCF.

Faith 102 - Discover Who and Where:

In this section you will discover who we are as a church. You'll find out why we exist as a church and meet some people who have been impacted by our ministry. You will learn about our structure and plan to accomplish God's purpose for our family...through you. You will be able to hear where FCF is headed and what part you play in getting us there. In essence, you will be able to hear the heartbeat of the church as you learn what it means to be a part of the family. Get information about Membership and ministry opportunities in our family. You will also have the opportunity to learn your S.H.A.P.E. in our family.

The five key elements of S.H.A.P.E.

Spirtual Gifts (What am I gifted to do?)

Heart (What do I love to do?)

Abilities (What abilities do I have?)

Personality (Where does my personality best suit me to serve?)

Experiences (What life experiences have I had?)

Faith 103 - Discover How:

Only 23% of "Evangelical Christians" have shared their faith in the past year. While some may lack the desire or motivation, for many they lack the knowledge to share their faith. Faith 103 is designed to teach you how to effectively share your faith in Christ with anyone you come in contact. Don't just know the "Great Comission" fulfill the "Great Commission."
