In the Community
We know that fulfilling our mission as a church, to find, grow, and multiply those who love God and love others, requires regular interactions with others. We hope the result is relationships built around the practice of leading and following.
Here are our primary opportunities.
The church cannot be effective in the community and around the globe if she is not developing servants who will faithfully care for the spiritual growth of the church herself, first. To maintain and multiply each new generation of those who love God and love others, it happens because of the work of each member of the far more than the "professionals." In the community
We see, hear, or walk-by people everyday who need someone to tell them about, and show them in tangible ways, the love of Jesus. FCF is active in several, gospel-opportunity ministries around the community. Please contact Pastor David to see what opportunities exist to activate your faith in Christ for the benefit of your Hagerstown-area neighbors.
Education classes, most commonly held on Sunday mornings*, are other great entry points for both men and women. We offer three, seasonal sessions (Jan-Mar, Mar-May, and Sep-Nov) at 9:15 on Sunday mornings. Children and youth ministries happen concurrently. For additional information, please see Gordon McDaniel
*Occasionally, we offer “education” opportunities at other times during the week.
